3 years later...

So I just recently remembered I had a blog due to some friends who have started blogs to share what their doing over the summer or their study abroad experience. And since I am spending this week recovering from getting my wisdom teeth out I thought a little update could help get my mind off of the pain.

A lot has changed since I last wrote. I am not gearing up for my last year at K-State. I can't believe my college career is almost over...I'm not ready for it! I've had such a great time in Manhattan. I have met so many people and made so many friends its going to be a big change to leave the little apple. This last year is going to be great! Then to find a big girl job...lol

I got my wisdom teeth out Monday morning and the one thing I have really enjoyed is spending the past two days watching great tv shows with my Mom. Last night we watched 7 episodes of Fraggle Rock. Now were watching The Office then later Glee and at some point we're going to watch Northern Exposure. I have the final season of Newlyweds with Nick and Jessica coming in the mail from Netflix hopefully tomorrow. :) I love tv way to much.

Home Sweet Home

I'm home for the weekend! I came home last night since out of my two classes today one was just an online quiz and the other being expos I e-mailed my teacher saying I couldn't be there today and she told me to send my paper with another classmate, which I did. Last night I went to a BBQ with our homecoming partners, Sigma Chi, SAE, and Achia (SP?). It was so fun! So I ended up leaving at 7 and not the planned 6 o clock.
I've found that I'm really antsy at home. I have to be doing something. So today I did laundry, dishes, went to Wichta to have lunch with Lauren, then back home to tan and talk to my old boss.
I LOVE KSU! I've been having so much fun. I can't imagin being anywhere else.

Only 2 days till I'm 19!

College Life

Okay I know it's been forever but I fell like I now have enougth things and time to write a blog. I still don't have a computer so I have to use the computer lab. I really wish Dell would hurry things up! Andy and I broke up. We fought more then we got along and I really feel like it was the best thing to do. So I'm happly single and just focusing on classes and my Theta, if a guy comes along so be it but I'm not looking. After a stressful week I am now a Kappa Alpha Theta! I love the house and mostly all of my new sisters! I started working again at the AE here. It's so different cause it's alot smaller compaired to the towne east one. It's really nice thoe and the people seem really great. I'm getting kind of worried cause I have 3 tests comming up next week and I'm hoping I'm getting all I need to know soaked in. I'm living in Haymaker which I guess has the football players, but I have yet to see one. That would be pretty cool to be friends with atleast one. Then Chelsea and I have fallen in love with the dasher line at the Derby. (the derby is our diner center and dashers is food to go) We get it and take it up to our room and watch vhs (cause our dvd player doesn't work and neither one of us has a computer) or do homework. I do think it's really funny thoe when the person in the dasher line asks you if you want your food to go. 'Heres your sign'

Class Night

Class night was last night. It was great minus the fact we mess up walking in. Yes it is possible. One side ran out of people when the other still had oh, 7 or more left. Good news I got 1,750 dollars in scholarships! Thanks to Lions Club, NHS and James D Thortan.
Today Mom and I are getting ready for the party thats tomorrow night. I'm trying to finish up my scrapbooks and my gifts to my fellow grads. So the scrapbooks wont have any writing...I'll have more time to do that once this is over.

It stayed the whole night...and the next day...I was a little to tired to shower, so I didn't till the last possible moment Sunday night.

Prom was amazing I worked till 11:30 cause I need the money after all this prom spending. Hair app at noon. Sarah and I got our hair done right after eachother again. We were looking pretty hot! Then I picked up Andy and we got the flowers, which were gorgeous they looked like they were made out of frosting or one of thoes sugar sculptures. We then changed at my house and went to his Dad's to take pictures with his sister and her bf. We left from there for Wichita we ended up eating a Abualo's (sp?) instead of Chesters becuase they don't open till 4:30 we needed to eat at 4. After dinner we went back to Wellington to take pictures at the Methadist church because Stewart Park was cloesed due to planting. There were WAY to many people there Andy and I just kind of stood around I defentally didn't get as many pictues as last year. Then Andy, Lacie, Mathew, and I went to my house where we waited to long to get in our sweet ride for drive in. Cause I made the mistake thinking walk in is at 7 so then drive in is the same time. No drive in was at 6:30. So we were the very last car. We walked in which is my favorite part. It's like being a celebraty walking on the red carpet. So Fun! The decor was eh, the potted plants around the Hollywood sign made it look very real... After the dance we went to after prom and I WON THE CLASS QUITL! It took staying there the whole time (till 3am) and a little help at blackjack (thanks Sean!) to fill the bag with tickets but they drew my name! It's pretty amazing. At 3 we went to the breakfast which was okay but I quess food isn't really what your thinking of at 3am I just wanted to sleep.

I don't care what anybody says Backstreet Boys was one of the greatest groups ever. I was listing to them today on the way home from Kansas City and it just put me in a good simple mood. Reminded me of how easy things were in grade school. I also was drinking a Mr.Pibb which is a drink I fell in love with the summer I staied with my cousins while my parents went to Switzerland. We would go to the pool and I had to get it everytime.

It's just so crazy that I'm graduating. How did this happen?! Not that I'm not ready for it, I'm really excited! It just came so fast.
